Teatro Entre2 is a french-mexican company, funded en Mexico City around 2010. It has developed its own style which they call “Cinema-Theatre”. Their shows are the encounter of different arts like painting, music and theater.
Within their repertoire we can recall for plays like J’ai tant rêvé de toi…, The Palm, tales and lies for everyone, New York versus El Zapotito and Painted little prince (sponsored by the FONCA, Programa Fomento a Proyectos y Conversions Culturales, 28th issue and received the Award for Best Children's Work by the Association of Theatrical Journalists, 2014).
They have presented themselves in theaters such as Teatro Helénico, UAM Teatro Casa de la Paz, Mexico Library "José Vasconcelos", Foro Chapultepec among others. Also, in numerous festivals like 33rd Muestra Nacional de Teatro, San Luis Potosí; Festival de las Almas, Valle de Bravo; 6th Great Marathon theater for children and youth of the National Theater Coordination; as well as festivals in Bolivia and Spain (2011).
For more than 6 years, Teatro Entre2 has also surprised the public with street shows and urban interventions. In 2014, they presented for the first time the urban intervention in bicycle Tragedia Sobre Ruedas, a show without brakes (supported by the program México en Escena CENART, for the creation of new audiences, 2014). They had performed at various festivals in the Mexican Republic such as the XIII International Festival of Street Theater, in Zacatecas and Winter Lights at the National Center for Arts, among others. In 2017, they release the show under the trees called Arbolea which is an encounter between science and arts to achieve a whole new experience around trees and nature.
Currently, they have the support of Mexico in Escena 7a broadcast, from FONCA. They participated with their most recent creation La Descarga aún no se ha completado in the International Festival Cervantino Revolutions Off (2017).
